George is an organist and worship leader. With a background in cathedral music, George studied organ at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and was an organ scholar at Oxford University before joining the music staff of All Souls Langham Place. He then spent a happy few years doing a PhD in Musicology at The University of Sheffield whilst working as a freelance musician.

 After moving to London to study for a diploma in Bible and Ministry at London Seminary, he worked as a Worship Pastor at churches in Harrow and Wakefield. He is also active as a peripatetic piano and violin teacher, and works as an accompanist and conductor with local choirs.

George is delighted to be back in Sheffield again, and excited to join All Saints. He also loves running, hiking, and the outdoors, and is slowly walking his way around the UK’s National Trails.
