Dear Friends,
I commend the Advent prayer to you and suggest we use this for many who will connect with us during the month of December. Having had some time recently with our various partnerships that are connected to the All Saints family can I commend the prayer for their blessing too.
Almighty God,
give us grace to cast away the works of darkness
and to put on the armour of light,
now in the time of this mortal life,
in which your Son Jesus Christ came to us in great humility;
that on the last day,
when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge the living and the dead,
we may rise to the life immortal;
through him who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

We pray for:
Whirlow Spirituality Centre that wonderful place of hospitality, welcome and prayer to many from All Saints and further afield.
St Gabriel’s as we give thanks for Alistair, Catherine and the team that went from All Saints – we join them to give thanks for all that God is doing.
Clifford All Saints we are grateful for increasing connections back into our church building and sterling work done by a team to support it through a time of change.
Our partnership in prayer and support extends of course to our mission partners at home and overseas and the Diocese of Sheffield.
May you sense Christ coming to you with light and love during this Advent season.
